Privacy policy

Who we are

SANCTA MARIA ECOMMERCE PRIVATE LIMITED (#122, Second Floor, 3rd Cross, Chowdeshwari Nagara, Hosa Byrohalli, Sulikere, Kengeri Hobli, Bengaluru, Karnataka, 560060, India) runs Appduz and is responsible for the personal data described here.

Data we collect

  • Account data: your email address, name if you give one, and a hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
  • Store data: the store URL you enter and the public catalogue we read from it: product titles, prices, images and collections.
  • App configuration: the templates, colours and layout choices you make in the editor.
  • Shopify access token: if you connect a Storefront API access token, it is encrypted before it is stored and is only decrypted to read your catalogue.
  • Cookies: a sign-in cookie and a preview cookie. See the Cookie policy.
  • Error reports: if the site crashes, a short technical report (error message, page path, browser type). We remove query strings and anything that looks like an email address or token before it is stored.

How we use it

  • To run the service: sign you in, read your catalogue and show your app preview.
  • To keep the service secure, including rate limiting and abuse prevention.
  • To contact you about your account. We do not send marketing email without your consent.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use advertising trackers.

Retention

  • Sign-in sessions expire after seven days.
  • Account, store and app data are kept while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of a deletion request, unless the law requires us to keep something longer.
  • Error reports are kept in a size-capped log and are overwritten as new reports arrive.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the EU and UK GDPR and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you can:

  • ask for a copy of your personal data,
  • ask us to correct or delete it,
  • object to or restrict some processing, and withdraw consent where we rely on it,
  • nominate someone to exercise your rights (DPDP), and
  • complain to your data protection authority, or in India to the Data Protection Board.

To use any of these rights, email support@appduz.com. We reply within 30 days.

Where data is stored

Data is stored with our hosting provider. If it is transferred outside your country we use the safeguards the law requires.
